Round the Island 2019
The annual Round the Island Race is a one day race around the Isle of Wight that attracts over 1,400 boats and around 15,000 sailors each year! Making it one of the largest yacht races in the world, and the fourth largest sporting event in the UK after the London Marathon and the Great North and South Runs.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a race with world-renowned sailors racing against families and first-time racers, in the same event! Whether you compete regularly or are new to the sport, taking part in the Island Sailing Club’s Round the Island Race is a day to remember.
You will be competing on board Sidney II, our luxurious Grand Soleil 50, a powerful performance yacht built for speed and absurd comfort!
