Description It is the second longest race in the Royal Ocean Racing Club calendar and the first race took place in 1980 with only thirteen boats. Since then, held biennially, the fleet has grown steadily, attracting a record 64 entrants from all over the world. It starts in Wicklow near Dublin. You join us in Cowes as we use the sail to Wicklow to complete the required qualifying miles for yacht and crew. You are also welcome to sail back with us to Cowes at no extra cost or fly home the choice is yours. All Safety kit is provided including free loan of Musto if required, all onboard food, entry fees and associated yacht costs.
