Cowes Week is one of the UK’s longest running and most successful sporting events. It now stages up to 40 daily races for around 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world.
Racing takes place on the Solent, the strong tides and the changeable weather make for challenging sailing conditions and ensure competitive racing. The 8 day event combines competitive close quarters racing with superb shoreside entertainment and social events. There are few regattas in the world that can compare with Cowes Week.
